Successful blood donors in the month of July and August will receive a new-and-improved, velour beach towel and a chance to win a $10,000 vacation!

Across the Ozarks, someone’s friend, family member, co-worker, neighbor or loved one needs blood every seven minutes. CBCO is the sole provider of blood, platelets and plasma to over 40 hospitals in northwest Arkansas, southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas. One blood donation can help as many as three people in these local hospitals.

Donors are asked to take a few steps to ensure donations operate smoothly on the day of the drive:
1. Drink plenty of water or juice the night and morning before you donate.
2. Eat a well-balanced meal around 2-3 hours before giving.
3. Bring your photo identification β€” this is now required for all donors!
