Public Meeting Room Information
Public meeting rooms have been provided in the library so that the library
can promote its program of services to the community. Organized groups in the
community are encouraged to use these rooms.
The director authorizes use of the rooms and maintains the schedule.
The
following regulations apply to their use and any departure may be
made only by
the written authorization of the Library Director.

Availability
1. Library programs and library related programs have priority in the use of the facilities.
2. Meetings shall be for civic, educational, or cultural purposes.
3. Meetings which may disturb regular library functions shall not be scheduled.
4. Except for library and library related programs, groups shall not use the rooms for meetings occurring on a regular basis more often than once each month. Groups may reserve the room for the following week if that time slot is available.
Scheduling
1. Rooms shall be scheduled for meetings during regular library hours.
2. Meetings must be scheduled in advance and the coordinator of the meeting must complete the meeting request form available at the library. The completion of this form will determine the cost of the room, if any.
3. The building shall be vacated by 10:00 p.m.Fees
If there is no setup required from the library staff for the meeting and the standard meeting room layout is used, no fee will be charged. However, deposit and setup fees may apply to the group.The exception to this is where commercial business is conducted and the business will make money on sales, future sales, etc., this group will be charged a $25 fee per room ($50 for meeting room C). Setup fee and deposit may also be required separate from this fee.
Setup fee
The exception to this is when commercial, corporate, or legal businesses use the rooms. The fee will be $50 per room in addition to any setup fees that may be required by the group. A fee of $25 per room will also be applied if small independent business groups use the rooms for sales, future sales, offerings, returns on investments and promotion of products. Fees will also be applied if the rooms are used for a training session or classroom session where the participants will be charged to attend.
If the group requires special room setup besides the standard room layout, a fee of $20 per room will be charged. Rental of meeting room C (which is a combination of A & B) will be charged $40.Deposit
A cleanup deposit of $50 may be required in advance and may be returned upon inspection of the room.
Cleanup Charges
Upon vacating the room, if the group leaves the room damaged or cleanup is required by the library staff, the group will be charged an applicable fee. This may result in future denial of meeting room usage.
Equipment Rental Fees
The following fees will be charged for use of library equipment. Setup of all equipment will be done by library staff and any special requests should be directed to the library staff in advance of the meeting. At least 2 days advance notice is required for rental of equipment.Fees: TV and VCR $10, Laptop $25, Overhead Projector $10, Podium $5, Projector for Computer $25, Laptop and Projector $45
Computer Room Fees
The computer room is available for individuals, companies and groups for computer training with their own instructor. Rental of the room is $150, which includes 14 laptops and a projector with laptop. Coordination of this room must be worked out in advance with the technology department of the library . If additional technology assistance is required, the charge is $25 per hour/per person. A library instructor can also be available to teach the class at a cost of $25 per hour. Installation of additional/unique software will be coordinated and completed through the library staff and all applicable software licensing fees will apply.
The library provides public computer classes free of charge. This schedule of the classes will be posted on the Library's website and bulletin boards.
No food and drinks are allowed in the computer room.

3. Use of materials on walls, or decorations, is prohibited without specific approval.
4. Food and drinks are allowed in meeting rooms A, Band C only.
5. Meetings must be open to anyone wishing to attend but attendance must be limited to a number that would conform to local fire ordinance.General Regulations
Responsibility for Equipment and Facilities
1. Groups accept responsibility for the repair or replacement of damaged or missing facilities or equipment.
2. Groups shall obtain permission to use and provide a qualified operator for any special equipment used. Use of electrical or other equipment must conform to normal fire and safety standards.

Application and Cancellation
1. Application for permission to use a room shall be made to the library.
2. Application shall be made at least a week in advance.
3. Reservations shall be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Fees paid may be refunded at the discretion of the Library Director .
4. Any application may be rejected and previously granted permission withdrawn for violation of these rules at the absolute discretion of the Library Director.
