CORNED BEEF CABBAGE DINNER
MARY ANTHONY will be cooking up her famous corned beef cabbage and beans at the First Christian Church, 500 S. Madison St., on Sat., March 17th (St Pat's Day). Mary's corned beef plus lots of special desserts, great drinks, and cornbread will make it the perfect place to celebrate St Patrick's Day, because Mary's corned beef practically melts in your mouth. SR MARY FRANCES REIS has generously donated a quilt to be raffled, and LLC will start selling the tickets at our St Pat's Day dinner and award it to the winner of a drawing at the Celebrity Waiter Dinner on 9/13/12. Price of the dinner is $6 for Adult tickets and $3 for a child's ticket (10 and under) Meals will be served from 3 – 7 pm. If you can help set up, cut pies and cakes, or serve, please call the office. Thanks in advance.
CELEBRITY WAITER DINNER
Our CWD will be held 9/13/12 at the St. Francis De Sales Family Center. We will need 40 celebrity waiters for the evening. Our fun night will be based on “An evening in Hawaii” theme. Food and entertainment will be a real treat. The council has made arrangements to have a Hawaiian dancer and menu. (No poi) Get your name in early if you plan to buy a table of 8 for $140. The price has not been increased in the past 3 years. The evening will definitely be worth-while and a lot of fun. If you would like to serve on MARY ANTHONY'S fund raising committee, please contact her at 532-6697 on Fridays, or 417-286-4763 any other time.
